How Did Clover Coffee Get Its Name?
To many, the four-leaf clover is a symbol of good luck, hope, and prosperity. To us, the four-leaf clover signifies a difference that is special. Grown in the same field, under the same sun, some clovers have an extra leaf. It does not make the clover better or worse, just different.
It is that celebration of difference that gives all of us at Clover Coffee, our why.
Our Why
Our paths towards starting Clover Coffee looked a little different for each of us. However, one thing we all had in common was our passion and love for either raising our own children with different abilities or working with this special group in our day to day jobs.
Throughout our experiences, we became aware of the need for meaningful employment within this population that was not being addressed with traditional work settings. A concerning 80% of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities are unemployed. Providing employment to these individuals not only offers opportunity for financial gain and independence, but it is also a way for them to develop their identity and purpose.
At Clover Coffee, our goal is to create an inclusive employment opportunity where our employees develop a sense of purpose and value, and where their potential can be met.
We want our employees and their ABILITIES to be celebrated, not just tolerated.
Our Mission
At Clover Coffee, our mission is to bring social awareness and acceptance to the community while providing individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities meaningful and purposeful employment.
Clover Coffee provides an inclusive environment that will foster positive social interactions for our employees within the community, as well as a sense of personal pride.

Meet the Team
Krista Winner
Krista has been a pediatric audiologist for over 18 years. She has had the opportunity to work with children and adults with disabilities throughout her career but her favorite “patient” is her own son Grady who was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy and global developmental delays. Her passion in being a co-founder for Clover Coffee is helping to provide meaningful employment opportunities for special people like Grady.
Dana Bruggeman
Dana has worked as an Audiologist for over 25 years. During that time, she has worked with pediatric to geriatric populations, as well as patients with differing levels of abilities. However, Dana’s biggest joy is being the mother of her two boys, Mathew and Joshua. Mathew is 23 years old and has a diagnosis of Autism and Cerebral Palsy. Mathew’s life journey has been the motivation and inspiration behind Dana’s passion to bring the Clover Coffee concept to fruition.
Megan Temple
Megan is an Intervention Specialist through Dublin City Schools. Inclusivity and ensuring individuals with disabilities obtain meaningful community experiences has always been a passion of hers. She believes that with the right supports in place, anything is possible for any individual. She sits on the board for Miracle League of Central Ohio as well as We R One Community, two local non profit organizations working to create opportunities for individuals with and without disabilities to work, play, understand and just be together.
Emily Moser
Emily is an Intervention Specialist in Dublin City Schools. Emily has always had a passion for equity for people with disabilities. She currently sits on the board for Miracle League of Central Ohio and is an advocate for peer collaboration within Dublin City Schools. Throughout her career, Emily’s passion has always led her to create opportunities for individuals with disabilities, as well as a welcoming environment for all individuals. She is excited that the employment and the experience at Clover Coffee can provide exactly that.
